The great majority of citizens oppose the introduction of mega trucks.

01 Feb 2012. Also the majority of people in Poland refuses the admission of longer and heavier trucks. This was the result of an opinion poll conducted by Inquiry Market Research on behalf of the campaign “Tiry na tory” (move trucks to trains). 69 percent of respondents were against allowing Gigaliners, 14 percent were in favour.
Also in other European countries the people gave a clear rejection of mega trucks, this was shown by opinion polls in Germany, France, the UK and Switzerland. Accordingly 81 percent of French, 80 percent of Swiss, 77 percent of Germans and 75 percent of British people are against longer, heavier vehicles.
